Find yourself on top of a canopy of trees inspired by the Bukhan Mountain in Seoul, South Korea π³
Bukhansan or Bukhan Mountain is the highest mountain in Seoul with its highest peak, Baegundae, at 836.5m. It is visible from most parts of Seoul as it forms a major part of the northern boundary of the city π»
The hike is no leisurely summer stroll. Many elderly hikers regularly take the 4 hour return trip on offer, passing through rocks and valleys, including the rewarding final steep section to the peak. At the start fill up your empty bottles with some fresh cold mountain water, but don’t drink too much as there don’t seem to be any toilets on the grueling journey πΆ
Lush tree coverage from colourful maple trees makes for a scenic hike – just like this incredible canopy with sunshine breaking through the leavesΒ π³
